Traduu is a one-woman creative practice led by Charissa van Holland, a designer based between Rotterdam and Utrecht. At its core, Traduu treats design as an act of translation — carrying stories, emotions, and experiences across mediums, from language to image, from sound to surface.
The studio was founded on the belief that meaningful design doesn’t start with aesthetics — it begins with understanding. Whether translating the mood of a song into packaging, or shaping the emotional tone of an event into a poster, every project is approached with care, curiosity, and conceptual clarity.

The name ‘Traduu’ comes from the Italian word traduttore, meaning “translator,” with roots in the Latin traducere: “to lead across.” That’s what this practice is built to do — to lead something from one space into another, preserving its essence while revealing something new.
